The Welsh Football Trust aims to develop more opportunities for boys and girls to participate in football and to develop their standards and by doing so providing potential players for the national teams.
The club accredation scheme is one of a number of initiatives that improve playing structures while ensuring that young players have a safe and enjoyable environment to play football in.
The Trust's strategy is delivered through five key programmes:
- Area football programme.
- Player development programme.
- Coach education programme.
- Girls programme.
- Disability programme.
