Just hours after 1,200 committed volunteers helped create one of the great Champions League finals, the FAW Trust launch an exciting new volunteers hub.
The hub, which aims to hook willing volunteers up with needy clubs and associations, was launched as part of Volunteers Week and is hoped to provide a space for people who love the game to get involved.
As part of its commitment to grow the game, the FAW Trust has launched the app to reach out to people who have many skills to offer grassroots football but might not even realise it.
Fancy giving it a go? By answering a few simple questions, you can match your skill set up with clubs in your area who really need you.
FAW Trust CEO Neil Ward said: "Volunteers are the bedrock of our game. They're the people who make things happen on a day-to-day basis, make the game what it is and help it thrive.
"They mark the pitch, collect the subs, put up the nets and are the people who make the game happen at a local level.
"This hub gives us a great opportunity to get more people like that involved in the game."
