‘We wear the same shirt’ initiative launches two new weekly sessions

Here's how football can help people with mental health issues

Two of Wales' biggest clubs, Newport County and Wrexham, are about to launch free weekly football sessions for adults living with a mental health condition (diagnosed or undiagnosed).
Newport County's sessions will be run on Thursdays, starting July 21, from 1pm to 2.30pm at Newport Civil Service Sports Club in Bettws.
The Wrexham sessions will be every Wednesday, starting August 8, from 4.30pm to 6pm at Plas Madoc Sports Centre in Acrefair.

The clubs join Merthyr Town FC and Newtown AFC who have been delivering ‘We wear the same shirt’ sessions since November 2015.
The ‘We wear the same shirt’ initiative has been created by Time to Change Wales and the FAW Trust.
A bespoke website with further information has also been developed: http://www.wewearthesameshirt.org/home/
