Additional FAW Football Leaders Award course at Merthyr Tydfil

Due to popular demand, an additional Football Leaders Award will be held
in Merthyr Tydfil on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th July 2009 at Aberfan
Community Centre.

The closing date for applications is Friday July 24th 9am. Full payment
and completed application forms must be with this office by then for
candidates to be accepted on the course. You will receive telephone
conformation of your place prior to the course.

May I remind you; with the Football Association of Wales online database
about to go live, this will be your last opportunity to access the
course in Merthyr Tydfil before the new season begins.

Venue: Aberfan Community Centre & Grove Field

Date: Saturday 25th July and Sunday 26th July 2009

Time: 10am-4pm

The Welsh Football Trust is offering the opportunity for people to access the football Leaders Award in Merthyr Tydfil as part of the football development programme. A 2 day Course to provide an introduction to:

· Organisation and Environment

· Organising Player Centred Practices

· Modern Coach Communication and Manner

· Including all players in sessions

· Challenging players of all abilities within a session

· Targets and Conditions

· Technical Warm ups

· Small Sided Games

· Mini Football and 11v 11 match day issues
