Title: Community Education Coordinator

Reports to: Campaign Manager for Wales

Responsible for: Management of the Community Education Team

Context

Show Racism the Red Card (SRtRC) is an anti-racist charity. The aim of the organisation is to combat racism through anti-racist education and working with professional footballers to support the campaign.

Job Summary

The post is involved in managing and expanding the community education work in Wales, developing partnerships and joint working initiatives.

Skills & Knowledge

Essential

Good oral and written communication skills.

A high level of motivation, ability to work with minimum supervision but still capable of working as an effective team member.

Knowledge of racism and anti-racism.

Ability to deliver workshops and presentations.

Ability to manage staff.

Ability to use contemporary ICT.

Good organisational skills.

Experience of project management.

Experience of monitoring and evaluation.

Experience of planning educational activities.

Desirable

Knowledge of football.

Fundraising experience.

Experience of producing Business Plans.

Experience of undertaking anti-racist activities.

Experience of working with young people.

Qualifications & Training

A good standard of education (or able to demonstrate life experience skills).


Disposition

Enthusiastic, highly motivated.

Able to maintain confidentiality.
