FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT OFFICER – CLUB DEVELOPMENT – CENTRAL WALES FA (Full-Time)
SALARY: £21,000 to £25,000 (plus benefits)
The Welsh Football Trust is seeking an individual with the necessary enthusiasm and commitment to make a difference to the development of football in the Central Wales area.
This post will be based at Newtown, Powys.
Central to the role will be the strategic coordination of Club, School and Fun Football Accreditation programmes for the Area Association. You will also be responsible for the coordination of the club development programme and will work strategically with priority clubs within Central Wales.
On a local level, you will be working directly with clubs from the Mid and North Powys Junior Football league, supporting the growth in participation and volunteers and will also deliver Level 1 coach education courses.
Key competencies required
- strategic planning;
- good communication and organisation skills;
- good written and presentation skills;
- willingness to work unsociable hours;
- the FAW C certificate is an essential qualification.
